90-minute talk followed by the opportunity to view the nature-lab exhibition with innovative concepts, prototypes and visions on the MCBW motto "How to co-create with nature".

How to co-create with nature @Fraunhofer? The artists & researchers from the Fraunhofer “Artist & Designer in Lab” program share insights on their collaboration & discuss the possibilities of using natural resources in art & design:

Design meets mushroom research, hydroponics, urban and vertical farming as well as upcycling with apple scraps - In our panel talk with drinks and appetizers you will learn more about the exciting projects of the “Science, Art and Design” network and can also experiment yourself at our hands-on workshops:

May 14: Fungi Workshop - Experiment with mushrooms yourself!
May 15: A Matter of Fruit - How apple scraps can be upcycled
May 17: Hydroponic Workshop

Panelists:
Julia Krayer, designer at Fraunhofer UMSICHT and Jens Krzywinski, head of the professorship for technical design at TU Dresden and the »DesignLab for Applied Research« in conversation with researchers, artists and designers from the Fraunhofer network »Science, Art and Design« programs: Mushroom mycelium researcher Lina Vieres, the artists Mara Sandrock and Kat Petroschkat, the designer Verena Brom, the chemist Lena Marbach and Dr. Mascha Gugganig from the Chair of Life Sciences in Society at LMU.
