The mcbw designwalk is a city walk that invites you on a discovery tour through the most exciting neighbourhoods in our city. This year, we are inviting visitors to Haidhausen from 11 - 19 May 2024 to get to know our nine selected designwalk stations and the creative minds behind them. You can expect inspiring, regional and sustainable concepts, of which we urgently need more in Munich.
Equipped with a smartphone, a stable internet connection and, ideally, headphones, the Designwalk is accessible at any time of day. By following the markings of the stations and the audio instructions, you can listen to the stories of the people, their shops and products as you stroll through Haidhausen. The interviews are in German. The best place to start is at the first stop on Innere Wiener Straße 24 at Jules & Mel in the HIER store.
How it works:
1. go to the first stop on the Designwalk Map (or click the link above if you don't have a chance to visit Haidhausen)
2. find the marker at the station
3. scan the QR code with your smartphone
4. play the audio clip
5. follow the directions at the end of the clip and go to the next station
Please note the opening hours of the stations. The designwalk interviews are in German.
